Santa María Tonantzintla, Puebla – Agroecological educational space for poultry
Who are we ?
The most important thing for us is the health of our water, soils, trees and plants, as well as our own and that of the local community.
One of our main objectives is to train people in the community with sustainable and ecological alternatives to generate an increase in their quality of life.
Our project
It is planned to make a construction with environmentally friendly techniques such as: COB and bajareque (these construction techniques require a large amount of human work, thus benefiting local and solidarity work).
The hen house will be equipped with feeders, drinkers and pastures, which are very important for the quality of life of the hens. We aim to build a community that knows how to take advantage of natural resources in a responsible and efficient way to be self-sufficient as much as possible.
Go beyond sustainability, towards the regeneration of our mini ecosystem, as well as contributing to the fight against climate change and environmental deterioration.
Always work in multiple dimensions: the economic, social and environmental, but also seek the general well-being through education, the arts and health.
